Unod Sa Kinabuhi
“SUKDANAN SA KAGAHAPON”
Ang kagahapon usa ka sukdanan nga dili nato kalimtan. Ang mga kasinatian, kalipay, ug kasakit nga atong giagian mao’y nagtudlo kanato unsaon pag-atubang sa karon ug sa umaabot. Ang kagahapon dili aron magpugong, kundili aron magtudlo ug maggiya.
Sama sa usa ka maestro, ang kagahapon naghatag og leksyon nga makapahugot sa atong pagtuo ug makapalig-on sa atong kasingkasing. Ang mga sayop ug kalampusan naghatag og sukdanan sa atong pag-uswag. Apan ang tinuod nga gahum sa kagahapon makita lamang kung atong isalig kini sa Ginoo, nga naghatag og kahulugan sa tanan.
Bible Verse: “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:18–19
Panghunahuna: Ang kagahapon ba nagdala og kabug-at nga nagapugong kanako, o naghatag og sukdanan nga naggiya sa akong pagtuo ug paglaum diha sa Ginoo?
“KASIGUROAN NGA DI MATUPNGAN”
Sa kalibutan nga puno sa kabalaka ug pagduhaduha, daghang butang ang naghatag og kasiguroan nga dali ra mawala — kwarta, kahimtang, ug kadungganan. Apan ang tinuod nga kasiguroan nga di matupngan makita lamang diha sa Ginoo nga dili mag-usab.
Sama ni San Justin nga martir, ang iyang kasiguroan wala sa kalibutan, kundili sa kamatuoran nga iyang gipangita ug gipangayo diha kang Kristo. Bisan sa hulga sa kamatayon, nagbarug siya sa pagtuo nga ang kamatuoran dili mahadlok sa kasakit.
Ang Ginoo mao ang atong kalasag ug dalangpanan. Kung atong ibutang ang atong kinabuhi diha sa Iyang kamot, bisan unsa pa ang atong atubangon, magpabilin ang kalinaw nga dili matupngan.
Bible Verse: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty, says to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.’” — Psalm 91:1–2
